1. Participate on the VP/GM team in strategic and tactical planning for GROUP worldwide.
2. Lead and develop operations to successfully achieve optimum sales and profit results in a fast growth environment through continuous improvement in:
Customer Service through improved on-time delivery.
Quality through lower scrap and fewer customer returns.
Coordination of changes in product and manufacturing technology requirements from customer engineering and manufacturing.
3. Ensure accurate forecasting and timely reporting of site EVA, Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin, PBIT, Head count, Cash and Inventory.
4. Ensure effective site communications.
5. Facilitate and coordinate multi-functional efforts to resolve customer issues involving engineering, finance, sales, production, inventory, quality, and delivery.
6. Develop short and long range objectives for sites in keeping with MMI corporate objectives.
7. Work closely with Technical Marketing and Sales to develop and maintain pricing strategies.
8. Ensure that ethical standards are maintained and policies and programs are consistently practiced.
9. Lead and coach direct reports. Identify and initiate management training in association with Human Resources.
10. Facilitate desired cultural change.
11. Develop and implement best practice designs to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
12. Work closely with other General Managers and Global Account Managers to achieve common goals.
13. Understand, follow, and support company policies and ensure compliance with local, and government legislation concerning employment, health, safety and environment.
14. Provide the overall direction, coordination, guidance, and evaluation of the site.
15. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with LCS policies and applicable laws. |
