1.       Directs the Operations Planning Department activities of:  Customer Service, Production Planning, Shop Floor Scheduling, Materials Requirement and Inventory Control functions.

2.       Facilitates production and sales of automotive, general industrial and industrial finishes coatings by effective utilization of production equipment and inventories. 

3.       Raw materials and finished goods inventories must be maintained at optimum levels balancing the expense of the working capital with the ability to supply the customer consistent with PPG policy and customer service requirements.

4.       Responsible for the staffing, development and management of the entire Operations Planning Department and participates in all hiring and merit increases. 

5.       Success depends on excellent knowledge of the OPM4 Planning Tools (Forecast, MRP, etc.).
